~Lights of Heaven~

I've woke up from a strange but beautiful dream this morning. It was so vivid, so surreal, Its unbelievable but..

It was just like any other night, I was in bed waiting to drift off to sleep. I was laying comfortably in my bed, silently in my pitch black room, with only the sounds of nature outside my window in the night. With the howling wind, roaring outside my window.

A few moments past and my eyes lids began to feel drowsy, slowly my eyes were beginning to close. And the next thing I knew, when I opened my eyes....

I saw a stone entrance covered in vines and pretty white flowers, that grew from the cracks of the ancient stone entrance. It had some strange looking hieroglyphics written-  or should I carved above the stone entrance. The pretty white flowers began to glow softly as I came nearer to the entrance. My feet were moving on their own, like something was pulling me to enter the stone pass way. I brush the vines and a few flowers out of my way as I entered inside. Those flowers I passed, they were different. I didn't know the name of these flowers nor have I ever seen them before. But the flowers had long flowing petals that piled over top of one other, with something growing out of the middle of them. I didn't have time to have a closer look as in my dream, I pressed on.

The entrance lead into a tunnel leading me somewhere, unknown to me. The walls of the tunnel had some sparking stone within the walls, or should I say gems?. Either way I couldn't pin point the colors of the stones, as it continue to change as I wandered deeper into the tunnel. It wasn't to long until I finally arrived towards the end of this long tunnel..

When I stepped foot outside of the tunnel, I had to cover my eyes. As the new lightening was slightly blinding to me, I waited a moment to let my eyes adjust. As I finally regained my vision.

I gasped as I saw the breath taking view in front of me, I saw a forest of trees of all sizes. Some towered over me, while others were the height up to my knees. The many of the trees were colors of blue, purple and white. While the others had familiar colour shades. There were also many plants I've never seen before or could even imagine of...

I took a few steps forward, entering into this forest. I glanced around at this beautiful strange forest but then I felt something wet below my feet. I looked down to see there was blankets of water covering the ground below me. But the strangest thing was, that my feet weren't in the water, but standing upon it. As I shifted my balance on my feet, water rings formed around where my feet were or once was.

I stared down into the reflection of the water, watching as strange looking creatures with glowing and sparking scales passed below my feet. I continued staring until I noticed floating glowing orbs of blue and white in the reflection. I looked up from the water to see floating orbs of light surrounding me. I watched as some glowing orbs passed by me, lighting up the plants and the water of this forest beautifully.

But then out of instinct, I snapped my gaze forward ahead of me. I felt something calling to my soul, drawing me toward it. I felt my heart race as I began to take steps forward, at first I was simply walking until I slowly quicken my pace. Until finally I was dashing off toward this force, this feeling that was pulling me in that direction. I kept dashing ahead until I leapt upward, at that moment gravity failed me as I began to soar higher and higher through and over tree tops.

Panicking for slit moment until I was somehow able to take control, I felt like I was walking on air. I slowly began to descend toward the forest. I felt my heart race in my chest, the feeling and sight of descend but thrilled and scared me, it was a sorta numb feeling. If that makes any sense?..

But it wasn't long until my feet met firmly with the tree top, and then I leapt upwards and forwards again high into the air. I continued to do that, in the direction that I felt that force was...

I was weightless, nothing pulling me back to the ground...

It was then when I felt I was closer to whatever was calling me, that I descended toward the ground again, as my feet landed firmly on the forest ground. I searched around, noticing the glowing orbs again, when I was leaping through the air, I noticed they were everywhere around this place. They lights blink on and off through the treetops of this place. It was quite a pretty sight, at the time.

Whatever this place was. I began to wonder what the name of this wonderland could be, it was then I heard a faint whisper say. "Lights of Heaven", I looked around searching for the owner of this voice but I saw no figures around me. I didn't know whether it was saying the name of this place, or the name of the floating orbs.

It was then I felt the pull, the feeling that lead me here, it was stronger than before. I turn back to the direction of it, and began walking further into this forest until I saw a wall of flowers in front of me. I gently used my finger tips to guide the flowers aside and walked though.

It was then that my eyes landed on what was drawing me here, in front of me were two perfect blue roses. A faint light surround them, as they were floating in the middle of stone gazebo. I approached the gazebo, climbing up the few steps, drawling nearer to the blue roses. Each step I took closed the space between me and the roses, I came to an halt as I was right in front of them.

As I came near the roses, they themselves began to glow ever so slightly in a faint blue light. I kept my sight upon them, admiring the beauty of them. Without even thinking I began to raise my arm, reaching toward the blue roses. The roses began to glow even brighter more and more, closer my finger tips came toward them. The moment my finger tips touched against the roses, a huge burst of light beamed from the roses. The light was blinding, I quickly covered my eyes with my spare arm.

I slowly removed my arm from my eyes as the light fainten, disappeared into thin air. I looked to where the blue roses were before to see they were gone. I panicked and searched the floor of the stone gazebo frantically, to see they were no where to be found.

Nothing but those roses were on my mind, until a voice broke me out of my thoughts. I straightened myself as I slowly looked out from the corner of my eye, into the distance to see a figure call my name. I couldn't see the figure's face, but watched as this figured held out its hand toward me.

I didn't know why, but I felt this person was so familiar to me...that I knew this person.

It was then I heard its voice again, it said "Come, your story is about to begin". I couldn't help but feel as though this person was smiling to me.

I felt myself begin to sprint forward this figure, I became nearer and nearer toward this person but, just as I was about to be able finally see this person's face..

I woke up.....

I gasped as my eyes shot open. I saw that I was back in my bed, my bedroom again. It was then I realize it was just a dream, but it felt so real to me. I let out a sigh and climbed out my bed to start my daily morning routine. As I rose to my feet, my pj shirt was crooked, so as I went to adjust it. it was then that I saw it..

I had two twin blue roses tattooed on my waist, I could have sworn my heart skipped in that moment as shock took over me. I was speechless, my mind was blank for a moment until a million questions ran across my mind. As I tried to progress what I had just dreamt and what I now had on me.

"Was it truly just a dream?"
